Several hospitals and medical centers are within a short drive from the City, including St Joseph's Hospital, Beyer Hospital, the University of Michigan Medical Center and the Detroit Medical Center.  Belleville is serviced by the Huron Valley Ambulance Service which offers advanced life supported by the Belleville Fire Department offering trained paramedics and emergency first responders.
